Key steps

  1. Reach one arm over their shoulder and diagonally across their chest.
  2. Thread your other arm under their opposite armpit to meet the first hand.
  3. Clasp your hands together in front of their chest, elbows tight to them.
  4. Pull them back into you so your chest stays tight against their back.

Key details

  • Keep your hands locked up at chest height, where they're hard to reach and pry apart.
  • Secure the grip before the hooks, because it holds them while your legs move in.
