Key steps
- Press their wrist to the mat up by their ear, with the arm bent and the palm facing the ceiling.
- Feed your other hand beneath their upper arm and take hold of your own wrist.
- Keep your chest low and heavy on theirs.
- Keep the back of their hand on the mat as you slide it toward their hips and raise the elbow.
Key details
- If their hand comes up off the floor, they can straighten out of the lock, so keep it down.
- Stay heavy on their chest so they can't bridge into you.
- Finish in small, slow movements and stop at the tap.
