Key steps

  1. Grip their wrist with your opposite hand so their arm crosses toward you.
  2. Reach your other hand to the back of their triceps, close to the armpit.
  3. Pull the arm across your body while you pull yourself to their side.
  4. Wrap their back with your free arm, reaching for their far hip or lat.
  5. Climb behind them and lock a seat belt or put your hooks in.

Key details

  • Slide your hips toward their back as you drag, so you end up beside them instead of face to face.
  • Set the triceps grip deep toward the armpit so the arm stays across their body.
